Dmitri Kitaenko named Malko Competition jury member in Copenhagen

Dmitri Kitaenko has been selected to be a jury member in the Malko Competition 2012. Over the course of a week (5 - 12 May) the most capable and talented conductor of the next generation will be selected through this renowned international competition in Copenhagen, which was founded in 1965 and takes place every three years.  It will be led this year by jury chairman Lorin Maazel in association with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The important Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki has written a piece specially this year, with which six candidates in the fourth round of the competition must work. Previous award winners include Claus Peter Flor and Ralf Weikert.
